Description

So now that we've broken down several attributes to the Maiden style, let's put them all together and play along with a backing track. I've created a condensed song utilizing the concepts we’ve been studying in this tutorial. It features the gallop rhythm, single note riffs, and harmony guitars Maiden use the most.

The tune is in E minor and begins with a clean arpeggiated guitar intro. It then launches into a twin-guitar harmony riff typical of many maiden classics, then comes a typical gallop chugging verse with single note harmonized motifs injected for extra catchiness. The tune winds up with a wide open chorus that blends open power chords with the gallop rhythm. So get ready to try this with the backing track, and most of all, have fun playing along!
