Hello all. I've been off and on GT now for 2 years and have recently decided to get serious about learning how to play. I'm starting out with Christopher Schlegel's Guitar Fundamentals and I have to say I really like his style. As weird as it sounds, it doesn't hurt that I feel comfortable with his lessons because he reminds me of a very good friend from many years ago. Here's to hoping you CAN indeed teach an old dog new tricks.

Fundamentals 1&2

Tstapp,
Like you, I've decided to get serious about learning to play. I just finished the beginning 1&2 courses, and MAN, are my fingers sore (and stronger). I would never guessed I could have learned so much in just a few weeks. I think the trick is what I've always known - play everyday, and a lot. Now, for me, it's like an addiction. I wake up and pick up my guitar. The last thing I'm doing at night is playing.

Thanks to Chris Schlegel for making it fun and interesting.

You guys are really on the right track, and working with GT Fundamentals 1 and 2 really does a great job of getting you moving with the basics. If you really, really get those; you are ready to move on and take advantage of all the wisdom GT has to offer from world class players from across the globe.

Welcome, and have fun! Big Grin
