Like you, I've decided to get serious about learning to play. I just finished the beginning 1&2 courses, and MAN, are my fingers sore (and stronger). I would never guessed I could have learned so much in just a few weeks. I think the trick is what I've always known - play everyday, and a lot. Now, for me, it's like an addiction. I wake up and pick up my guitar. The last thing I'm doing at night is playing.
