Just wondering who speaks what around here... I personally speak English, German, and French, in that order of proficiency. I would consider myself completely fluent in English (my mother tongue), rather fluent in German, and I can hold my own in French. I'm also taking Japanese next semester in college...

Besides English, I'm pretty good at Italian, and not too bad at spanish.

By virtue of their electrical properties, tubes generate a special waveform when they're saturated, which is why tube engineering has tremendous tonal advantages over solid state or DSP solutions, particularly for crunch and lead sounds. Tubes enter the saturation zone gradually or softly, which lends tube-driven tone its trademark yet totally unique character.

Don't speak a word of Korean, but I am fluent in English. I used to be completely fluent in French, but 7 years of not speaking it isn't really the way to keep it up. I am planning on a trip to France in the near future, though. I want to tour around the countryside, explore a bit, go chateau-hopping and taste all kinds of wine. I don't want to do the clichƩd "see 92 European countries in under 8 hours" bus tours.
... and that's all I have to say about that.

Can speak English (first language), Pidgin (the main language of over 700 languages used in Papua New Guinea), used to speak Japanese and German. The only thing I can remember of German is ā€˜Das ist mein Hackfleischā€™ which means ā€˜That is my ground meatā€™, or ā€˜That is my hamburgerā€™ :D
