If you ,like me, want to learn this beutiful song afte seeing
this awesome performance, it's available for download here.
It's in japanese, but just look in the "composers" scroll box
and you can download gif pics of the note sheets.
This is yet another example of how some songs simply can't be tabbed out,
trying to tab this song would be almost impossible.

You can find tabs for most of the songs on there that sound the same.

Well of course it can be done, but if you have'nt heard the song,
it's alot more difficult to figure out the dotted notes, crescendos,
8th's, 16th's, pauses, etc etc with a tab.
My experience is that you never really know how it's supposed to
sound with a tab, they're just never accurate.

Hmm, how about that. Kinda makes me wish I started playing when I left the womb. Well, time for some longer practice sessions. Some day I'll play like that...some day.

I haven't taken the time to read this thread until now,I've been trying to download the clips but they're much too big for the connection I'm using. But tonight I'll leave them downloading(the cyber cafe I use has granted me this favour) overnite, then tomorrow I burn them to CD and take them home with me.
About classical musicians not composing and all that,I have a contrary opinion:
I thought that improvising was creating something that doesn't exist, and on the fly.Isn't that called composing by another name?If one guy improvs and plays on his guitar, and another writes what they hear in their heads on a piece of paper(in note form),what's the difference? It's all creation! If you ask me,composition, improvising, these are just different perspectives of the same animal, really.
But then again,I guess it's a bit like raising the question of whether an actor who works from a script can do stand up comedy or mime, and vice versa?
Hmm.

I finally watched the videos.

I can safely state that when I grow up(I'm 25),I want to become a guitarist. What is that stuff she plays with her fretting hand without using her picking hand?!?!?Is it that I'm underexposed to these things(and that sounds a bit funny to me,coz I work in a photo studio) or what?
The downside is,whoever said her arrangements become monotonous after a while was right. They do.My gut reaction was that he/she was just hating, but it's true.
All the same, I want to become a guitarist when I grow up.

I still dont see how you guys can say that Koyunbaba was monotonous and how how Grand Jota was monotonous and along with her other songs...Whats so monotonous about them? Maybe its you might not like the sound of her guitar but those works (that she didnt right) are are far from being "monotanous".. Maybe I see it from a different point of view because I play the classical guitat but who knows..

Maybe I'm looking at it from a different perspective too,but I'd say that there's a difference between saying a coupla songs are monotonous, and saying that the arrangements are monotonous.
I said(and I think the other guy too said)that the arrangements are monotonous,in fact, get monotonous, after a while. That moving from one song to the next, there's nothing markedly different in her flow.
If someone played seven songs whose arrangements were all similar to______(your all time favourite here),that won't make the songs monotonous. But the arrangements just might be.
I'm I saying anything?
