Im assuming that because im a musician i cant compose classical music..that whats im getting from your post

There is kind of a line between classical composers and classical musicians, although the composers are obviously musicians too, but in general the people who play the pieces in public dont write them. Segovia never(or very rarely) composed anything of his own... he played pieces by early guitar composers like Tarrega, and even Bach pieces(usually lute suites). Classical musicians tend to be classed as performers or composers, but its not a strict rule you understand. John Williams doesnt write his own music either, he just plays other peoples pieces too fast.
