Aaarrrgh... more tales from the crypt...creeeeaaaak...
My parents bought me some of the first Beatles singles released in Canada, but the first album I bought for myself was "If You Can Believe Your Eyes And Ears" from The Mamas And The Papas. I still get a major thrill out of music that features tight vocal harmonies over unusual chords.

LOL speaking of tales from the crypt- I also get a kick listening to Louis Prima (I don't know why) and most of the early Doo Wop groups- I especially like it when vocal harmonies form unusual chords acapella. Besides learning from the Beatles, it's where I learned how to harmonize and improvise vocally.
"Lets see… well I play the guitar and when I'm not playing the guitar, I think about playing the guitar. My other favorite instrument, is the guitar and if I aspired to play any other instrument, it would be the guitar...

I can’t sing so I sing through my guitar. So when the sound guy says: “Your guitar is too loud!” I think: "Why does he never say that to the vocalist?"
