Anyone ever use sustaniac?

I was thinking about having the stealth plus sustainiac
installed in one of my guitars [jackson] just for having something different to mess around with from time to time.
Has anyone ever played a guitar with one of these? Is it
even worth considering? Thanks All, Mark

Is that similar to the Fernandes sustainer?

I don't know if it is the same as a fernades or not. I know matt bellamy of muse uses one, and a guitarist for def leppard does.It costs $229.00 just for the kit and about $100.00 for installation unless you do it yourself, plus shipping both ways. If you want to see what it is, click here.

I know Vai uses a sustainer, and it can do some pretty cool things.

For that price though....I dunno...thats almost the price of a nice guitar.

Check out Kramer at http://www.musicyo.com they have a guitar or 2 with a sustainer pickup.

Sounds like a pricey investment, and you aren't even sure about it.

about $600.00 I just e-mailed them to see if it was a
sustainiac stealth product in there or something other.
Hell, just for a couple extra hundred I will probably
just get this guitar instead of the kit, if it has the
