By virtue of their electrical properties, tubes generate a special waveform when they're saturated, which is why tube engineering has tremendous tonal advantages over solid state or DSP solutions, particularly for crunch and lead sounds. Tubes enter the saturation zone gradually or softly, which lends tube-driven tone its trademark yet totally unique character.

Dont you find some old people are really mouthy and dont know when to shutup. I used to skateboard quite a bit and almost everytime someone complained that i shouldnt be skating were i was always seemed to be an old person. Some dont even come face to face and tell you to go away. Instead they just mumble as they walk by so you can just hear them. This really annoys me because it wouldnt be fair to go up to them out pick them up and throw them on the floor. Has anyone ever found old people are grumpy and annoying and have had bad experiences with them ? (i'm not ageist, i just find a lot of old people retarded)
