Enough talking about guitars and bands..
Oscar time's approaching and the impossibly beautiful Charlize Theron is up for a gong. Hurrah. At last she's up for recognition. She should get an Oscar for being the hottest babe in showbiz. Who would you nominate an Oscar for on the grounds of being babelicious?

Looks are for banging. If I like what comes out of her mouth, then maybe an Oscar.

Charlize is hot. Mmmmmm...but yeah there was a big article in the local newspaper about when pretty actresses take on "ugly" parts, they usually get nominated for an Oscar. They named a plethora of examples.
I've never seen the movie, so I couldn't tell you.

WOW. Finally Charlize Theron was given the opportunity to show us the depth of her talent. Not since "The Devil's Advocate" have I seen this phenomenal actor in such a weighty role. Her portrayal of executed serial killer Aileen Wournos is absolutely heartwrenching. By entitling the film "Monster," the pre-conceived notion of what this woman was is out of the way immediately, leaving the rest of the time to concentrate on Aileen's cataclysmic story. While this is about her and what she went through that led her to murdering a number of men while working as a prostitute, the real heart of this story is her relationship with Selby, played by Christina Ricci. This relationship is the most painfully candid love story in years.

Cant remember the name of the film but I really liked her in the role of a con's pen pal. He's killed in a prison riot and his cellmate Ben Affleck poses as him to cop off with her. He's then bullied into joining her no good brother's gang of crims.
