Check out Schmange's tapping tutorial at http://www.guitartricks.com/2000/trick.php?trick_id=1873&s_id=13
Blues is easy to play, but hard to feel.

It's hard at first, dude, but you'll get the hang of it, just keep practicing. I love this technique, and I try to use it in some form or another in the vast majority of my solos. Once you learn it, it's a great trick to have.
I want the bomb
I want the P-funk!

My band is better than yours...

here's some very basic/ simple things that might help.

1. make sure you have a super low set up. if your set up's too high, you wouldn't be able to tap. for beginners, it's usually good to start with a low set up.

2. you'll need to put some gain- a lot of gain

3. try to excercise your fingers- you can do this by practicing. the stronger your fingers get, the clearer the sounds you create.
"Lets see… well I play the guitar and when I'm not playing the guitar, I think about playing the guitar. My other favorite instrument, is the guitar and if I aspired to play any other instrument, it would be the guitar...

I can’t sing so I sing through my guitar. So when the sound guy says: “Your guitar is too loud!” I think: "Why does he never say that to the vocalist?"
