yngwie pedal
i bought a DOD yngwie a pedal ago and in one of his interviews he says he turns the knobs all the way up..well i tried that and i get some massive feedback..is there anyway to stop or control this feed back? plus do any of you have some good amp setting for the old rock sound?

Move really far away from the amp, as far as possible??

Playing by tvs or computers isn't quite the best idea.

I've been using either an Ibanez TS9 or a DOD250, and have recently began using the Yngwie pedal instead (i like it a bit better)..
All of those old style pedals give lots of feedback, hum, etc.
The only solution is a noise gate of some sort, and I mean that. Yngwie uses a Boss NS-2, which is small and cheap, although i prver a dbx quad gate.

what settings do you use for the amp and the pedal??
i like it because it makes my distortion sound smoother in the higher frets

On my big tube amp, I usually turn gain on it to about 6, low ranges at about 6, midrange on 4, and the treble boost on around 7. Settings on the yngwie pedal, full everything.

Playing near the TV or Computer causes alot of buzzing, not sure about feedback.
