I try to practice at least 3-4 times a week for about an hour or 2 each time...
unfortunately 3 kids, a wife and a new house make that all but a pipe dream!!!
but when I can, I'll sit and do scales or chord progressions or whatever kind of exercise I can think of for 40 min or so and then I just have fun the rest of the time....
oh - and again, time permitting, I get together with a buddy and jam about 1 -2 times a week...
