Images and words for is the best, Awake is very close :)

I've heard the new one, it's different. Not sure I'll buy it tho. It's harder, which is good but I kinda liked dream theater for their progressive touch, not their hard side.

I though vocals were weak, a lot of songs have a talkbox kinda sound, I'm not into those.

Images and words.
I dont like the new album too much, it has that annoying "nu metal" feeling, which turns dt into yet another limp bizkit.

"They think im crazy..
but i know better.
It is not I who am crazy.
It is I who am mad.."

Huk, I no longer like DT. Mainly cos of that James Labrie guy. His voice is annoying ruins good progressions.. not to mention when DT did Metallica covers and he had to sing Hetfields stuff

Images and Words is probably the best.
If I leave here tomorrow,
Will you still remember me?

Everyone seems to be saying Images and Words but I much much prefer Awake, it's a brilliant album. There's something really cheesy about I&W that's missing from Awake, that said Metropolis and Pull me Under kick ass.
Some of their live albums are brilliant too.
If I couldn't laugh at myself how could I laugh at someone less ridiculous?
