Hey man, ive got a problem,
when ever im hammering on in situations like this:

|----7p5--
|---------7

like that over and over really fast, on the last 7 whenever i take my finger off, it rings the string as an open, when clutters up my solos and stuff

also when i bend, when i reach the top and coming back down, it makes an open sound of the string about it,
this is obviously bad technique, all my technique needs work anyway i suppose. But how do i fix it, any suggestion,
Muchos Gracias

Learn how to properly mute the strings. Every guitarist does it differently, some use their fret hand, some use their picking hand. It's all about preference.

Just work at muting them, it will gradually come easier over time as you develop more technique.

It really depends on what you're doing too.

Marshall Harrison for example (the underrated king of legato playing) doesn't mute at all. Why? Because he plays so damn fast that you really can't tell the difference

The trick I recently heard from some players when they bend, they use the index finger from the fretting hand (most like to be Left) to mute the string above the actual string you are bending. You do this by bending the string with your middle and ring finger and have your index finger sticking out touching slightly to "deaden" the string above, hence no open string sound. But too late for me I've already grown accustomed to bending strings the traditional way so I stick with it.

Dude, if it was easy, everyone would do it. You're acquiring a skill, it takes time to master. There aren't "secrets" per se, just techniques and fundamentals to master.

It won't happen overnight, and if you're looking for some quick fix, you probably won't fine one, and if you do, it will more than likely hinder your playing.

Just practice doing things the way that feels most comfortable to you. Just because a certain technique works for some players, doesn't mean it will work for you, and vice versa.

Dude,

What Pantaclica said originally, learn to mute the string when you pull off the 7.

You could use your fretting hand and mute the string with the tip of the finger hitting the 5th fret on the string below the one you are pulling off on.

Or you could palm mute it very carefully with the picking hand just after hitting the note.

Another technique for muting that works well is a slight palm mute, or a sort of hovering over the strings with your picking hand. It manages to keep the strings from ringing unncessarily when you are playing the high ones or sweeping or whatever.

Hope that helps any.
