Wow, why didn't someone tell me about these before? Anyways, if you own a Digitech Effects processor, you can go here to view the settings to input into your effects processor: http://www.digitech.com/patches.htm I've been knockin' myself out all night with these patches and thought I'd spread the word if you didn't know. Does anyone know of any other great patch libraries?

I didn't know they had those either. I just thought they had them for the fancy schmancy processors.
So. If you throw a cat out of a car window, is it considered "kitty litter"?

If you searched Yahoo or Google for a specific effect model , you'll probably find a site or two for popular ones .

Anyway , I was never amused by those online patches , cuz they can never sound the same , considering that's it's a one of a million chance that you're using the same amp & settings the other guy used to make his patch.

If you're running the signal from your board straight into your soundcard then it wouldn't matter though, right? Since unlike an amp, the soundcard doesn't modify the signal anymore.

And what about equalization ?

However , I've found that effect settings doesn't vary that much in case you directly plug it into a mixer or something , unlike with amps .... But usualy , people who post their patches online had them setup on their amps.

I recomend that you tweak your effects yourself to learn more about them , specialy overdrives,equalizers... While for delays and so , you can learn some usefull tricks from other people's settings.
