Just starting out here, but I play a Austin Strat w/ two singles, and a humbucker on the bridge. I like it because it was a good guitar for me to start out on and am planning on upgrading the pickups to two Texas Special Single Coils and a S.D. Pearly Gates on the humbucker. I am looking to get a good sound for blues style music and some classical. My question to you is what kind of guitar do you play, have you stepped it up a notch and what kind of music do you enjoy playing most??

my baby is my black and gold Jackson RR5 with Seymour Duncan JB and a Jazz

To improve technique and of course trying to keep all as clean as possible. I know my own limits and speed limits and so on I never play anything I'm not capable of. That wouldn't make any sense. After three years of playing I tried to play everything as fast as possible and that sounded, I would say, like shit, and I didn't realize that if I'd play bit slower things than I was capable of playing then everything would sound much better.

*looks at zepp's guitar, starts to cry*

i don't think that there are many guitars that can follow that, its a hard act to follow, and i believe that my guitar won't live up to that standard, but here goes...

i play and Ibanez RG 470 FM, it has a humbucker in the neck and bridge and a single coil in the center, basswood body with flamed maple top.

Ughhh I hate that gold v string-thru bridge plate thingy..if it wasnt for that, the gold plate around the volume/tone knobs and lack of 2 frets,I would look into buying that rr model.

I play a ESP viper 301 in trans black cherry with emg 81's and a mid range Ibanez RG violin brown quilt top with stock pickups.
I want the new 2003 B.C Rich Virgin or Jr.V and that out of my price range Jackson king V with those sweet ghost flames.

I play mostly Kramers, but I do have a few Jacksons, Ibanez, and old San Dimas Charvels. I won't post any pics though. I waste enough bandwidth with just my posts.
:) Well.... Maybe I will post some later. We shall see. I would have to go to "The Vault" and take a few shots.
So. If you throw a cat out of a car window, is it considered "kitty litter"?

In other words, "All Business."

The same can be said for my Grind. $400 is unreal for a neck through bass, much less one made with some tone woods.

Standard Fender Tele, I am upgrading the neck pickup to a Seymour Duncan SH-1 with 5-way switching and Epiphone Les Paul Standard, still looking for replacement pickups.

I play a solid black Gibson Les Paul Studio with two nickel plated Humbuckers. I haven't decided on a name yet, but I think it'll be a girls name...something nice. Any suggestions?

19?? Washburn EA20-12B 12-string electric/acoustic
19?? Washburn EA20MTS 6-string electric/acoustic
(late 70's - early 80's?) Washburn A20-CS 6-string electric (weird-looking beast)
(mid 80's?) Odyssey V built better than either the Gibson or Epiphone Vs (sounds better too!)
1984 Yamaha SBG1000 double cutaway Les Paul copy ('Brand X', my main axe), with DiMarzio SCHB & Dual Sound pickups
1984 Yamaha SBG1000 double cutaway Les Paul copy ('The Stalker'), with DiMarzio PAF Pro & Tone Zone pickups
19?? Yamaha RBX350 4-string electric bass guitar

All bought used, except for 'Brand X'. The Washburn EA20 Festival Series 12 & 6-strings will soon be appearing on eBay. I've got a newly-rebuilt motorcycle to pay for. :D
