Classical Guitars

hey~ I was jamming the other day with a bandmate. We were at a music store and we were both playing classical guitars. It sounded really good. He bought the one he had been playing. It was an Alvarez (Japanese i believe). I want to have a classical guitar also but I do not know if the one I was playing would be a good choice. It was an Iberia guitar. I was told it was Korean and made about 20 years ago. I know korea isn't known for good quality now but I do not know how well they were made 20 years ago. The guitar sounded good and it was only a hundred bucks but I don't know if i'd regret buying it afterwards. I want a decent guitar for an inexpensive price. Any suggestions?

If a $100 guitar sounds good, it isn't much risk to buy it.

My four string is Korean made, and it's the nicest bass I've every played. It beats the snot out of the $1,000 (used) Warwick I checked out. So yeah, if you like the way it sounds and plays, go for it.

I decided it was a good idea so I bought the Iberia in case anybody cares :) I like it.

If you want a durable and good sounding classical guitar get a Jazzmen they last forever and stay in tune for a long time. I'v had mine for eight years now and there isn't a single scratch on it and it still sounds like it did when I first bought it. They arn't very expensive at all.

I bought a Raimundo today and I love it.

The Yamaha CG101MS is the hot deal right now! For 200 Bucks it has a solid Spruce top.
