How long will a peavey 5150 last?

Im going to get a peavey 5150 and am just wondering how long it will last before it goes 'boooom' and i have to get it repaired.

haha i haven't really had any experience with 5150's...whats all this hype about them not lasting very long? haha sorry about the stupid question i'm just very curious...

I had a 5150 for about a year. Never had any problems.

If I were you, go for the 5150 II. It has a much better tone than the regular 5150.

We are just pulling your leg, no one is slamming the 5150, their is just no way of knowing how long it would be before you had a problem, it's like buying a new car, the manufacturer can give you a warranty but they can't guarantee you won't ever have a problem, the only amps that never have any problems are the ones that are stashed away in a closet not getting played, all the rest are open for anything............ Enjoy your 5150.............while it lasts!.............Just Kidding..........
