Hey everyone,

I think my picking hand is at a natural/neutral angle. For example, when I alternate pick, especially quickly, I must start with an up stroke. Anyone got some tips for setting the angle of attack for the pick? I'm thinking knuckles slightly down. I'm confident I keep my pick parallel to my strings, and I feel it may be slowing me down or messing with my timing.

Thanks for reading, and be safe.

Hey Kyle, it's hard to diagnose without being able to see an example. Not sure why you say you must start with an upstroke.

Maybe you could share a video. You might also want to sign up for a 1-on-1 with one of the instructors. They could give you explanations for that very quickly.
