Most of the material is doable with an acoustic, especially the rhythm guitar material.  I think the only material that might give a student trouble is the lead guitar material with string bending.  When other students have asked about working through the course with an acoustic I've told them to just skip those parts if they are too difficult or if they simply have no interest in them.

Hope that helps!

I was actually wondering the same thing because I mostly play on an acoustic too. Good to know that most of the rhythm material works fine, but I was also curious how big of a difference the string bending feels compared to electric. Has anyone here tried adapting those lead parts for acoustic instead of skipping them? sprunki

I just finished level one of Blues. Bending on acoustic and electric is night and day. That is mainly becuase the acoustic doesn't have the same amount of sustain. You can still practice it. Pull-offs work, and the double stops very well on the acoustic.

Thanks for reading, and be safe.
