Yes, I have lessons on reading music notation in my Fundamentals 2 course starting here.

Do you recommend finishing fundamentals one and two then go back to your lessons of it doesn't matter?

The easiest way to find the lessons of any given instructor is on their instructor directory.  From the main pull down menu click on Instructors > See Full List.  Then you can click on my page.

Or Lisa.

I recommend finishing GF1 & GF2 with Anders, since you are presumably already working through it & enjoying it.  Then you can work through the chapters on reading music notation from either me or Lisa.

Hope that helps!

Honestly, when I started, I didn’t have any courses to guide me either. However, if you're serious about learning to read music, I'd recommend going the classical route. Classical musicians learn to read notes from the very beginning because it’s fundamental to everything. If you have an instrument, like the piano, spend a few hours each week practicing reading sheet music along with your playing. The more you do it, the easier it gets to recognize patterns. But yes, it’s a time investment that pays off when you can sight-read well!
