Essential Licks

Hey guys how's it goin? 

I've been trying to tackle some of the essential licks section and I'm not sure if I'm just really bad at this but it's taken me over an hour to learn the first lick. 

Is there a place where that section is tabbed out anywhere?? I only get an hour a day to play and I just wanna maximize my time. 

Any input is more than appreciated.  Thanks for your time

It takes a while to get used to what you are looking at and listening to. Break it down in steps, look at his picking hand 1st to find the strings he is picking then look at the fretting hand to see the notes and listen with your ears to make sure you have it right. 

I tabbed this one for you, but it is a skill you can learn and will come in handy. I am showing a 1/2 bend if its not clear.

You can change all of this stuff depending on the track you are playing to. Below is a link to a cool track this lick sounds great to, but mix it up.

I agree    I am trying to learn some of these licks and it is really hard to figure where his fingers are going    A tab would be GREAT   (Terry Bergmann)  Plus I asked a question about the five pentatonic patterns and no one answered them    where do you go to get your questions answered???

The GT team is working on getting the essential licks notation on the page.  Hopefully it will be done soon.
