new to the site

Hi all, 

I posted on the beginner forum and I was referred here, my question is: I played for many years, I played with bands and I recorded and gigged but always and only by ear.

I would like to expand my guitar knowledge as I feel like I could do much more but every time I start a program I don't know where to start and I get bored, could you please point me out to the right direction?

It sounds like you have considerable playing skills but lack conceptual understanding.  I have a few collections of tutorials (sort of mini courses) aimed at theoretical concepts that might help.  Be aware that these also necessarily contain practical applications that might be at or below your skill level.  

This collection on music theory covers the basics starting very simple, then gradually gets into more complex topics.  So you might be able to breeze through some of the early tutorials then dig in more when it gets interesting.

This collection on chord theory goes in depth on the specific theory and application of all major & minor triads & their inversions across the fretboard.

This collection on improvisation starts very simple & also gradually gets more complex.  Because there are a number of practical applications you might find you can play the examples very easily, but the area you might be able to benefit from is the conceptual explanations I provide along the way showing how scale intervals, their harmonic functions & chord progressions are all integrated into one system.
