playing about 5 months

I´m playing the guitar for 5 month now, and i wanted to know, if it is good what I´m able to play after this periode. I can play: Master of puppets till 5:35, And justice for all complete except the wah wah part in the solo,eric clapton layla solo, and I´m at the moment trying to play the one solo( Till now i can play the first 10 lines- the 1000 times easier ones than the following, and i also i think they´re still too hard for me) ...and much more but these are probably my hardest things i can play.

I think it's pretty good, I'm playing for a half year now and I play all master of puppets, now I'm learning all creeping death, I know parts from battery, I know seek & destroy buy I didn't tried the solo, I know some of fade to black, enter sandman, blackend (parts),sad but true and more I forgot...

How long did you need to manage this? and how long did you neeed to manage the rest of the solo, is the rest harder? How do you manage to play this weird tremolo in the middle of the solo? did you play it by reading the guitar tab?

Ive been playing like a year and the First solo is pretty easy easy, the 2nd solo i havent even tried to touch im not a huge metallica fan so its not that big of a thing for me :), but the first solo is pretty simple once you get it down.

I don't listen to Metallica, James Hertfields voice gets on my nerves. Anyway, the only song of there's that I like is Nothing Else Matters which was quite easy to learn. You should try learn Paraniod Android by Radiohead. It's essentially got three different guitar parts to it and the solo helps a lot with your trem picking.

You don't like James' voice, but you can tolerate Radiohead??
