I like basically all of the Randy Rhoads solos. (Diary of a madman and revelation). Yngwie's pretty good as well. I really like Brian May on Bohemian Raphsody and the show must go on, even though the solos are short and simple, they still sound really awesome!
There are only two important things in life - There's music and theres girls, not necessarily in that order.... The Ace's Guitar Tricks
What about Mr Sambora's break in Dead or alive. I think he must be one of the most under rated musicians today. The lack of mention in this thread confirms my belief. Also anything from Zakk & Nuno... surely those guys have been to the crossroads.
Texas Flood-SRV Leave my little girl alone-SRV (live much better than CD) Have you ever loved a woman-Eric clapton (one more car one more rider live version) Umm any satriani or Randy Rhoads.
I'm glad you rememberd 'december flower' AIWASS. I highly recommend learning that solo. Its not to difficult and the satisfaction from hearing it come from your own hands is priceless.
I would love to know how that solo was crafted/created.
