Black metal is nothing for me. Too sary and simply to bad. I really don´t like b. m. voclas our screams if you prefer. Than drums are fun to listen ´cause they go so damn fast but nah, I skip that.
But I can listen to some Venom stuff though. But it´s pretty limited.

I listen to some Emperor and Dimmu Borgir like once a year when the mood takes me - but thats about it. Cant stand too much of it.

InFlames and Dark Tranquility are not BLACK metal, but death metal (just read the lyrics).
I used to be very much into this kind of music, but it bored me after a while. A good black metal band that you should try though is Ensiferum, they play very heavy yet melodic black metal.
PS:I still watch some emparor-videos every now and then. For laughs :)

I am from Gothenburg and the death metal bands doesn't really get so much attention, exept from InFlames that has
"sold out" a bit. But yes, Gothenburg is the city of death metal :)

Death metal, black metal, whatever you call it, I cant stand it. used to quite like Ministry and Nine Inch Nails but that's about as heavy as it got for me.

Now I do have to say that Inflames and Shadows Fall are pretty good, but I'll check out the rest.

shadows fall "death metal or "Black metal" i think there just ma dam good metal band probaly the only good one to come out in awhile personly i think there going to be the next big metal band.as for death and black metal i dont really like it but i will listen to it once in awhile i really like the band suffocation there from way back
