Stone Sour is more my thing. Not into the whole Slipknot phenomena. I think Stone Sour have a more range of sounds ie. Bother compared to Get Inside. And through Stone Sour I have learned to appreicate Corey Taylor as a musician as when he did Slipknot it came across as a bit fake.
Remember, the chickens that fly will always beat the rubber plants that bounce!

I love both of them. It depends what mood I'm in. Slipknot has some melodic music also, but its hard to find. I hope they get back together so Slipknot can put out 1 more album, but then I think Stone Sour should be the main project.

i love both bands but slipknot more..the band has really talented musicians and are really good live.. although said to have simplistic guitar riffs, mick thomson is a hardcore shredder..i dunno bout jim tho

I like Stone Sour all the way. Slipknot to me sounds like a bunch of noise. You got dudes beatin' on barrels and all kinds of crazy stuff going on. Not my thing. Corey Taylor sounds way better in Stone Sour in my opinion.

Both. If I fell like fighting then I listen to slipknot cause to me it's "I'm gonna kick your fu##ing ass!" Stone sour is just a plain damn good band.

both bands are dam good but i got to say slipknot is my fav band mick thomson whooooooooooo this guy is insane he should make a solo shred album i like his blues band also the tylerthomson band even though hes the rhythm player
