I can remember asking what the diference between a tube and and solid state amps was and in that post i was told a decent less expensive Marshall Tube Amp, i cant find that post anywhere :'( So can anybody name a few cheap but decent tube amps please?

I played one of the new Marshall Mode 4 amps the other day, and I think it's an awesome amp for the cash. Considering it's a 350 watt guitar amp and you can pick up the head for about 1200-1300 bucks...I think it's a steal.


So. If you throw a cat out of a car window, is it considered "kitty litter"?

yeah, the cheapest marshall tube is the DSL 401, it costs about $700 and is an incredible amp.
To improve technique and of course trying to keep all as clean as possible. I know my own limits and speed limits and so on I never play anything I'm not capable of. That wouldn't make any sense. After three years of playing I tried to play everything as fast as possible and that sounded, I would say, like shit, and I didn't realize that if I'd play bit slower things than I was capable of playing then everything would sound much better.

yeah i was looking at the DSL401 combo, went to read reviews but havent got round to it yet. Its about £400-£450 and i earn £20 a week.....so im going to wait until next year when i get £5000 odd from a bank account that i cant get at until im 18, but when i get it its gonna be spending time!! I think i have already spent about £2000 in my head lol, i was gonna get a DSL401 Combo and a 7 string flying V, anybody give me a name of a 7string flying v guitar?, and a Korg-AX-1500g haha cant wait to get all that :D
