Slag Aerosmith then!!

C'mon! Lets hear your views on my 2nd fave band - Aerosmith!! An awesome classic rock band!!

Aerosmith made me play guitar. I was a H.U.G.E. fan back when I was like 14-15 yrs. old. I had Big Ones album and just loved the songs. Nine Lives album is amazing and it deserved hell more respect than it got but theyr lust album Push and play sucked.

I know that Guns are huge fans off Aerosmith. Mama Kin and Reckless life are two Aerosmith covers. They played/toured together a lot.

Aerosmith ballads are amazing. Dream On, What It Takes, Cryn´, Crazy, Amazing, Livin´ On The Edge...are masterpiece all of them.

Always loved Blind Man.

Aerosmith is one of the greatest rock n roll bands of all time. They could actually be the best but at never got the absolute recognition required. Awesome band that have influced practically 90% of the best bands of today like GNR, Metallica, and others the like.

I think they should retire. Soon, together with Roling Stones, they may make a tour called "The Wheelchair Rockers"

Seriously speaking they have been a cornerstone rockband but I think that right now they are doing it only for money. Their last albums are very weak.
They have become caricatures of their own images.

I felt the last two Aerosmith albums were pretty awful in comparison to the first ten or so.
The good news is Aerosmith are recording a new album next summer with Jack Douglas as their producer. He produced the first 3 or 4 albums in the 70s and Aerosmith aay they are going back to their roots!!
They are gona be touring with KISS too!

I must sound like a right argumentitive bastard... hehe
but i'm not a fan of the aeoros either... I like SOMEof the stuff, like dream on, sweet emotion, etc, but they've produced alot of non-discript crap... Kinda like Paul simon, I LOVE some of his work, but you do have to sift through some crap to get through it, like the stones as well, but the stones when they're good , they're phenomenal...
I still am not too into "white boy RAWK"... but that maybe that I'm just not into the genre

I love aerosmiths new stuff just as much as their old stuff although you shouldnt invite people to slag your favourite band. joe perry is a god

To say Aerosmiths new stuff is as good as the old is insulting!

oh jesus, heheh :D ponyone. It's not ROCK, it's "letsgetdrunkandpartyhard RAWK". The soccer mom's example is by the far the best i've heard, I'm going to adopt it as it were my own heheh :)
It's not the gut busting emotion of Hendrix in "spanish castle magic", "voodoo chile" etc.

I dont know Axl, no one is "slagging" aerosmith, it's just some of us are pretty indifferent... To me it's not that intersting.. I enjoy Iggy pop (and the stooges) for example which is both musically inspiring as well as lyrically... That might be worth looking into for you..
