This may be a stupid question, but I'll ask anyway. Is it possible to change the fretboard on your guitar? My Strat has a rosewood fretboard, but I've decided recently that I think I'd rather have a maple fretboard. Is that even possible? Or is it really expensive or troublesome?

Thanks

It's should work, take your guitar to your local guitar shop and ask them about it. For my guitar I don't think that it could be done, because i have four allen key bolts . But if your's has standard binding i think it should be possibile.

Good luck, Adrian

You would probably have better luck just buing a new neck with a maple fretboard, which just bolts on. I suspect that would be less expensive than trying to replace the fretboard.
