Hello everyone! I am beginner ( two years ) and can switch open cords pretty well. My question is I want to play a song or practice tune with a friend who is a good guitar player and am looking for advice on maybe a tune or practice that we can play together. I have heard plying with someone can help. I have an accustic guitar.

Thanks everyone!

Any 12 bar blues song in key that uses basic open chords might be fun.  You can hold down the rhythm guitar part playing chords while your friend can add licks & fills.

Or you might ask your friend what songs they know that have a chord progression at your skill level.  If your friend is a good player chances are they are more experienced & will be able to suggest something you can do while they play more advanced voicings or lines of the song.

Hope that helps!

I'll add one note to Christopher's response. Get ready to advance! Playing with someone else, especially one that's more advanced will make you a better player!
