Probably explains the lack of meaningful responses from GT, customer services replaced by AI……..?
Losing a (large) Number of Songs From Guitar Tricks
I've just returned after taking off over a year. I never cancelled my subscription though. Most of the songs I like (Classic Rock type) are gone. WTH? I think I am cancelling my membership after this year. The big selling point for me was the huge library of the classic songs of all time being taught here. Not so much anymore. If the excuse is going to be the cost of the licenses, then lower our annual membership cost if we can't have the good stuff anymore. Not sure how many years I been apart of GT but I am definitely leaving at the end of this subscription. No longer worth it. They have become too commercial and moved away from what made them unique IMHO. What a disappointment.
It looks like GuitarTricks never positions themselves on "forward-looking advice."
I saw this thread trying to get more transparency

Just joined GT & am not impressed with song library, didn't know it used to be better. Kind of odd because the TAB sites have a lot songs how do they get around "licensing" costs ? Doesn't make sense too me I bet every song you guys lost can be found on some TAB site.

It was a lot better.
