I am just starting to try and grasp this fine art. Would love any help, advice or general conversation between others out there that are struggling as I am, or experienced guitarists that can point me in the right direction on how to grasp this art by the b**lls.

Hi Darren, it's my first week here at GT. Started with Lisa and stick for a while at the Spider Legs Warm-Up Exercise LOL until I move on.. Before that I learned a couple of weeks from YT videos (gosh, my finger tips really hurt) , but I am glad now to be here at GT. Do your fingertips have build calluses, too? Mine look really ugly now :) Ordered some finger protection picks, let's see how they work....all the best brother with this fine art!

Welcome aboard. I'm a beginner myself and started with Lisa's class. Love all the details she goes over. I've been practicing everyday and slowly getting better. Making sure I don't skip a day. My fingers are kinda numb right now but was in a bit of pain in the beginning. Good luck with the course.
