Is there a video here that teaches how to learn a song by ear using the music theory like scales?

I have 2 tutorials on building aural skills ("ear training").
Ear Training for Intervals

Ear Training for Chords

Ultimately the most effective way to improve your aural skills is learn a bunch of songs so you start to get a mental library of how certain scales, chords & chord progressions sound. That makes it easier to figure out future songs. Music is made of repeating patterns. Patterns of scale fragments, chords & chord progressions that are used & reused.
So learning songs by looking at the notation or taking a lessons will help build your ear to figure out other songs on your guitar. Play guitar a lot & listen! :)
Listen to a lot of pop music. Blues, rock, country, jazz, radio pop. Everything. Listen for bass motion & try to pick out the bass notes. Then add the rest of the chord to discover it's chord quality: major, minor, dominant, extended harmony, etc. Then start to pick out the melody notes, usually the vocal line in pop music. Or even the licks & solos!
Do that for a lot of songs until it becomes second nature.
Hope that helps!
