About the anticipation section from level 1 , what does the parameters in the tabs means ?

Anticipations are notes played slightly before the downbeat of 1 in a measure (typically an 1/8th or 1/4 note before). So they belong to the previous measure. Usually when this happens the sound of the note is carried over into that next measure. To indicate the sound of the note continuing to ring parenthesis are used to show that the note still happens being connected to it's original sounding.
