One by metallica...

Q1.
---b15
---b15
17----
------

you would use one finger to bend both strings right?

Q2.
----15---15
b18---b18-- so on... and on...

with the bend do you bring it down and let go fo the string
or do you let it go straight after you bend? the sound at 18th fret echos cos I'm not too good bending fast yet..

the first thing i would do with one finger if both notes are to be bent to the same degree.

the second thing is some sort of unison bend but with the notes picked alternately. i would fret the 18th with the 3rd finger and the 15th with the index finger. rest the fingers on those notes and do the bend - it does not matter (imo) if the two notes are not seperated cleanly because the bend results in the same note as the one you fretted on the 15th e-string fret. infact the sound that is produced if both notes ring at the same time is a desired effect in most solos.

confusing?

It´s pretty rough to bend two notes with point finger but it goes with some effort. The other one is easy just do as Az wrote.

That's the very end of One's solo , right?

In the first one ,I use the first finger only which is the index to fret the 15's... It's kinda bluesy bend, less than a half step bend + some vibrato... Should be easy.

In the second one, you don't release the bend into the 18th fret (f-note) again... you mute it after the pitch reaches the g-note (20th fret on b-string) , then play it's unison which is 15th fret one e-string.

For the fretting , use the same fingering "Azrael" mentioned ... you can also support your ring (bending) finger with you middle finger , just to make the bend easier for you...
You'll realy need support if you're into 8 frets (4 whole steps) bending like me . :D

andy - use one finger and make sure to bend down (towards the high E) - not up...
