Hellow there,

i need your advice! Is it better to buy a Korg AX1500g
or a Boss GT-3 ? I've sold my old Korg AX100g because
it's plastic and it's easy to damage. I also want a new one
with great features and huge scale of effect. So what
would you do?

Best regards,

Eric

hey, I'd say neither of 'em. Go for the BOSS flagship GT-5 instead. It beats any multi-effects floorboard I've ever tried. I'm not a floorboard-type of person though, but this one is a killer. It's also encased in metal.

above is a review and product info on the pedal.

Don't be fooled by numbers, check out the release dates..

The GT-5 was the first of the series, followed by GT-3 few years later , and now the GT-6... They are all great , same awsome sound quality you'd expect from a Boss.
But for sure the newer should be more updated somehow, new effects added, etc.

I haven't tried the specific korg model you've mentioned... But I can tell you that if you can afford either Boss GT-3 or GT-6 , get it & you'll never feel sorry.

Thanks men! But i heard... before you've got the sound you
want, you must go trough many programs, parameters and
different kind of options...Is that true?

I've had Digitechs, BOSS GT-3's, 5's and a Korg AX1000G. My pick would have to be the Korg AX1000G. Best sound, easy to program, metal case. Personal pick from someone who deals effects.

That's true, setting up digital equipment for a sound you want is realy hard for the variety of options you'll have.

It depends on you, but a week with any unit should be quite enough to know most of the stuff you can get out of your unit.
