Metal's not my thing, but that was pretty creative Carl!
I think I'll introduce it to the grandkids and save myself a packet next Christmas when they tell me they 'don't want a visit from Santa this year'.

Happy New Year Carl. Did you use midi for some of the parts?
This year the diet is definitely gonna stick!
Wow, that's some zany fun! Great arranging & production skills as usual!
WHAT!! NO FATHER CHRISTMAS?!!!! It may not be metal but still THE KINKS MIGHT SUE!

Carl,
Not hearing Father Christmas included threw me off track, but WOW! I like the merging of major and minor themes and the use of dissonance. Talk about tone color!! How many insturments are there and how many people played them?... and if it is all you, how long did it take to put all that together? If it were not for all the odd tones it could be a classical composition. Despite twisting it up into a minor key and sometime clashing tone colorations, it maintains a very strong sence of melody. Not an easy task to accomplish. KUDOS TO YOU!!

Hey, thanks everyone for the nice comments.
7-String Guitar and 6-String Bass were all me, the rest was programmed in Cubase.
Drums are Toontrack and Slate samples blended in.
The keyboards / pitched percussion / synths were just cheap samples from Halion. I threw some weird stock Cubase plugins on them.
This was intended to be orchestral, but my main computer that handles those giant libraries and templates broke down a couple of weeks ago, so this is what I could get done on my old laptop.
It all took just a few hours and was a fun thing to do for the holiday season.
Thanks all for listening.
