Well, my name is Rusty, I am 61, a retired independent trucker, fireman, biker, ham radio operator, and old west enthusiast.

Back in '69 in the fourth grade I started playing trumpet and did so through the eighth grade where I decided that enough was enough. I'm not sure how much music I still can read, but...

Twice in my life years ago I picked up a guitar and both times wound up laying it back down. Bad timing, fast living, too many interruptions.

So I never lost the desire to play but last year I lost my younger son to cancer.... I suppose you'd say I see things differently now.

I intend to eventually learn something.

Welcome, Rusty! This is a good place with lots of support. You'll learn here if you stick with it and follow the curriculum.

Play on!
