Dear all, I would like to introduce myself. Back in my teens I played a bit of guitar but I could never get past a certain point so I gave up. I am now 50 and I really wish that I had perserved. Now I have kids of my own and my youngest boy is taking weekly lessons at school. Not to be out done I have started again too so that I can also help him (in a very limited way). So far I have been really impressed with this site. I am working through right from the beginning because I have forgotton almost everything. I like the style of Lisa McCormick in those beginners lessons and I wish I had had such a motivating teacher like that in my teens. I still have my pride and joy which is a 1987 Tokai strat... but for the beginning I am playing a cheap but good acoustic. I am having great fun...Andrew..
50 years young and starting again.
