All respect to Buckethead (the freakist guitar player on earth) I would like to have Slash back in the band, diss Chinese Democracy album and start to work on real GN´R music and than look back on Chinese... album as Axl´s side project with Buckethead and of course preform some songs with Buckethead as a guest star. That´s my dream and hope.

Well, Slash won't play with that moron again. He can't stand him, which I can understand.

What's up with Slash these days anyway? Is he still with the snakepit, or on to different things?
Blues is easy to play, but hard to feel.

Well that would never work, cos Slash and BH are both lead guitarists and as much as I love them Slash he has a bit of an ego and I doubt BH would be too pleased if he was dumped to rhythm player despite the fact hes a pretty lousy rhythm player anyway. Izzy is the best rock n roll rhythm guitarist of the last 20 years, you couldnt leave him out, but I doubt hed rejoin if given the chance.

At the moment Slash is working on an album with Izzy, Duff and Matt from GnR. I dunno if thats finished yet, and theres talk of it being an internet only release, Ill be getting it though. Hes also nominated for a grammy for his version of the Godfather Theme.

Here here, but this is a Guns and Roses discussion.;)
I think Buckethead and Slash would just be weird. There would be a whole akwardness thing, ya know? And it still wouldn't be as good as the original thing.

Nah I think Izzy is the best. Maybe I shouldve said it was my opinion or whatever but I thought it was kinda implied.

Also, Slash has clashed with every lead guitarist Axl has brought in to the band, Zakk Wylde and Paul Tobias(Slash left the band when he heard Tobias had overdubbed his guitar parts) so for that reason alone he wouldnt go near the band with Buckethead. Plus Izzy&Slash were a team, they gelled amazingly together and neither is as impressive alone, although Izzy has a great chemistry with Rick Richards, the guitarist with his band(formerly of Georgia Satellites). I sound like a real Izzy nerd so Ill shutup now...

Why is ever one stuck on Slash and Buckethead. There are more guitar players than them two. In my opinion, Randy Rhoads is possibly the greatest guitar player of all time. Listen to the Tribute album and listen to Suicide Solution (and the others of course) to hear some of the greatest playin' on earth. Anohter great is Kirk Hammett. He Rules. Anohter great is Brad Paisley. He can play.

No one is stuck on anyone, we're just giving our opinions on these two.

Oh God!!! I dont believe people still debate who is better than whom!!! Its sort of like what guitar is better or what kind of ice cream is better, chocolate or vanilla...But Keith Richards is definately the Koolest......there is no best..and my computer can play faster than any guitarist in the world..

definately vanilla
To improve technique and of course trying to keep all as clean as possible. I know my own limits and speed limits and so on I never play anything I'm not capable of. That wouldn't make any sense. After three years of playing I tried to play everything as fast as possible and that sounded, I would say, like shit, and I didn't realize that if I'd play bit slower things than I was capable of playing then everything would sound much better.
