Left hand

Hello, I have a ?. A few years back I lost my pointing and index finger in an accident on my left hand being that I am right handed I opted to buy a left handed electric guitar to learn to play. Did I make the right decision?

as it's done, yes it was a great decision.

There are probably ways round fretting with fingers missing.

For the strumming hand I may have tried a pick in either hand and see what felt better.
