well, it's been over a month since I've visited the forums. I'm still playing guitar, but time has been hard to find lately!

I bought a house, wedding plans are going forward slower than they should, and I have to buy Christmas presents (STILL)!

Otherwise things are good, but I do want to look for a new teacher... mine is good, but she's a music major with a focus in piano - so the two years of guitar she's had aren't going to help me much! I have been learning a lot of good basics, but I'm a bit past the really basic basics after 6 months or so with her.

Time to find a guitarist! (How come they're all so booked up? I don't want to have to drive 45 minutes to get to my lesson...)!

Since you already have a good knowledge of basics and so, you can depend on books & instructional videos.

yeah... I may do that - especially until I find a different teacher.

BTW - I don't like the grimoire DVDs - the setup is really dumb (a pseudo-goth kind of look) and all the instruction is based on the piano until about halfway through the DVD.

I'll write a mini-review on the right board ;)
