i'm finally getting ready to go to the Blind Guardian/Symphony X conert tonight. it's going to be awesome, the farthest spot is only about 25 feet from the stage. i can't wait.




p.s. DrSimon, i'll write a review.
To improve technique and of course trying to keep all as clean as possible. I know my own limits and speed limits and so on I never play anything I'm not capable of. That wouldn't make any sense. After three years of playing I tried to play everything as fast as possible and that sounded, I would say, like shit, and I didn't realize that if I'd play bit slower things than I was capable of playing then everything would sound much better.

Who are Blind Guardian and more to the point how the hell do they get to make Shadow Gallery a second slot item? They must be SOOOO hot!
by the way I've only heard bits of Shadow Gallery, any recommendations for albums? Micheal Romeo's terrifying I think he outshreds practically anyone I've ever heard.
If I couldn't laugh at myself how could I laugh at someone less ridiculous?

blind guardian are probably THE best metal band - not in terms of technique- there are others - but .. well - give them a listen and you´ll see

First of all the show was awesome. Both bands were great. BG was the more engergetic but Symphony X was better. Michael Romeo was amazing.
