Hi! I just got my guitar and subscription today! I am so egar to begin. I played the flute in highschool, and am hoping that will help me some. I am hoping to learn how to play well enough to play my husband our wedding song (Bless the broken road by Rascal Flatts) .
I am a Medical Professional, but with the COVID-19, I cannot work, due to being immunocompromised. I figure, what a great time to learn something new instead of sitting on my butt all day board out of my mind! Wish me Luck!

Hi Kelli, welcome to the journey, follow the fundamentals courses and you'll be alright. I never had any experience with any instrument, started in my early 50's and I have come a long way with these guys 
Hi Kelli, welcome! I don't know if your experience with the flute will help with guitar or not but if you are realistic with your goals and willing to practice at least a little bit every day you will get there. That's what everyone is telling me, anyway (as they roll their eyes and pretend to stifle their laughter). But hey, that's just my family! Hang out here in the forum for support, encouragement, and advice.
It takes as long as it takes unless you quit - then it takes forever and you will never get there.
