Hi all,

Was wondering if someone could help me understanding the following notation. Not for guitar actually but on a drumming exercise, I have the following:

Are the assumptions correct?

- There are 4 beats in each bar/measure

- Each note considered a beat is a quarter note

- Half notes set the tempo at 120 bpm

- According to the above, if there are 120 white notes per minute, that means there would be 240 quarter notes and 480 eight notes, meaning that the above snippet to play would be hitting each of these at a rythm of 8 per second

Thanks for your help!

all is correct and the key signature is the F key signature typically used for bass instruments and in this case a drum track
