You know the struggles of gettin a clean sustained tone with loads of gain, ie. palm muting idle strings and being extra carefull with your technique. Well im getting quite good at it and am quite proud but most people dont even know what its about!! I mean my pal who tries to play some o the stuff like the fade to black metallica intro, he cant see why his sounds so fuzzy n messy!!
Its a major inhibator on speed and fluency when u have to work n westle with the guitar to get that tone!!
DO do u think those people who play on clean tones just dont know how good we are? Dont realise the methods we use?
I mean my dads pal thinks am crazy playing with my marshall st to overdrive 2 with the gain on 10!!!
Is there a way round it?
