Anyone know some good bands that always or almost always use Telecasters. I am looking for some good music from the Tele's. I love The Rolling Stones and have a few others, but just looking to open up the horizon a bit. Not country byt the way.

About half of Jimmy Page's stuff was recorded with a Tele, and most of his live stuff.

I know that some stuff is recorded by Jimmy (like Heartbreaker solo) but I doubt if itĀ“s half. And I especially doubt if he used tele a lot live Ā“cause on evry picture and evry video I saw by Zepp, Jimmy had a Gibson L.P. guitar.

Jimmy Page used Tele's in his early days... I'm sure that 'Led Zeppelin I' was entirely recorded on Tele's... he also performed some early live shows with Tele's (I have a video for 'Dazed & confused' & he used a Tele)...

Later he discovered the Les Paul & Marshalls , and never changed them .

Page was using a Tele on stage at least until April 1971, when I saw them play in Ottawa... Which left me dazed and confused.

The Eagles.

Yes there is some country element in there, but dont be put off, they play rock like tracks as well. I saw a performance of Hotel California on TV where one of the guitarists had a tele, I think thats what they tend to use. Correct me if I'm wrong.
