Did any of you see the British poll by Metal Hammer, Classic Rock and HMV? The readers of those mags voted Appetite for Destruction as No.1 Album!!

What do you guys think?

Yea, it was number 7 in Rolling Stone, but I would have to say that the new GnR is going to make it. Thats just my opinion.

I think that A.F. Destruction is best hardrock album ever. Here in Sweden it´s still on top 20 list of hardrock album and it has been like 15 years since it came. Guns are an amazing band ´cause they were the biggest rock band and they been playn´ together like 6 years. That´s really impressive and lots of it is thank to A.F.D. CD. Almost evry song on that album is hardrock classic.

Gunners are amazing! We love em in Canada, well those who still love rock that is. In spin magizine, thier AFD cd came in number 1 of all time greatest rock cds. Hooray! To bad they only made five albums! To me, no one can sing like axl and no one can play the guitar like slash!
WWSD? What would stevie do?

Nah, i doubt it. Not for a long time anyway, they all have their own bands now. It is a shame though.

But who wants to see Guns when they are 50 yrs old. I want to see them as soon as posible while the energy is still there. Can´t the do a reunion only for one tour our somthing.

And by the way, when is new Guns album coming. They have talked about it for a couple years.

From Nitrayn at 2000 Intentions http://pub69.ezboard.com/f2000inten...icID=5442.topic

I have spent most of my afternoon emailing the local stations, trying to shed some light on the new single. I finally got a reply. It came from a DJ at 967willrock.com I will leave the actual jockey unanomous, but here is what he told me.

Josh,

We are indeed in posession of a GNR single. It came with strict legal reprecussions if it was played pre maturely. Only a handful of people here were eligble to hear an advanced copy. From what I hear, it is breathtaking. I can however tell you it will be on the air by the end of October. I also can give you the rumored track listing of the album. This by no way is confirmed by there label, it's just some rumors that we have pieced together:

Chinese Democracy
Catcher In The Rye
Eulogy For A Broken Heart
All the Kings Horses
Childhood's End
Madagascar
Burned Bridges
IRS
SuckerPunched
There Was A Time
Got To Be Crazy
This I Love
Oklahoma
The Blues
Ace in The Hole
The Long Road To Sanity

Axl had Slash kicked out of New G n' R gig about a year, year and a half ago... I think there's too much bad blood to see a true reunion any time soon.

After watching their performance on MTV recently I have to say it's too bad Axl's vocal chords haven't kept up with his ego over the years. The new band rocks though.

Axls voice on MTV isnt much to go by, I guess he was just nervous. I haerd some bootlegs of the shows in the week or so before the awards and he sounded his best in years.

The gig Axl had Slash kicked out from was New Years Day of this year.

But how the hell could Axl kick Slash out? First of all, they both are orginal members and Slash was famous as Axl was. I mean, I would understand if he kicked Gilby our Matt, but Slash? Axl must be a pain in the ass but Slash can be fu*cked somtimes.

That fight must been huge ´cause if I had a friend whom I knew for ´bout 10 yres. and spent like evryday with him and we had a huge fight, I would get friend with him again no doubt, except if he didn´t do domthing very very very nasty against me.

Does anyone know the reason in Axls vs Slash case. O yeah, death celeb match is fun to watch when they two fight.

Slash was blocked at the door per Axl's orders; he doesn't allow any of the old members into shows.
